  • Open your windows settings by pressing (Windows + I ).

  • In left side panel click on mouse option,

To make a temporary account follow the path

  • Start > Settings > Accounts > Family and Other Users> Add Someone Else to This PC

Safe mode provides a limited facility like you can use the limited number of files and drivers of the computer. But windows perform the basic function.  When you turn on safe mode it will display safe mode in word on the corner of the screen.

To turn on you in safe mode follow these steps

  • Open your Windows settings by pressing (Windows + I)
  • Select on Update & Security.
  • In the left-side panel click on Recovery.
  • In right-side panel Under Advanced Startup Select on Restart Now it will restart your computer.
  • After restarting click on Troubleshoot
  • Select the Startup Settings and then Click Restart button.
  • Enable safe mode by pressing the function key F4 number.
  • Your computer will start in safe mode.

When your computer launch in safe mode after that test it now you left mouse button is working or not.

To exit from safe mode do the following thing do this.

  • Open Run window by pressing (Window + R)
  • Type msconfig press Enter, new popup windows will be open.
  • Select the Boot tab and uncheck the Safe Boot
  • After that restart your computer.

To update your mouse drive by following these step

  • Right-click on Start button and select Device Manager.

8. Enable ClickLock

This feature allows you to highlight or drag or drop the file and folder without holding down the mouse button. To turn this off follow these steps which are given below.

  • Open you windows settings by pressing (Windows + I)
  • Select Device
  • In your left-side panel select the Mouse.
  • In your right-side panel select the Additional Mouse Settings under the related settings. It will pop up the mouse properties.
  • Select the Button tab and uncheck the Clicklock feature.
