16. Encrypt Files Using Command Prompt
If you have some private data and want to hide it. Command prompt provides the file encryption functionality that encrypting your sensitive data. Encryption is the best way to prevent your secret data from unauthorized users. this command allows the user to encrypt your sensitive data. And you’re are the only user that can see your files. To do this.
Open your command prompt and then change the directory where you want to encrypt your data.
If you can change your drive user (Drive letter) and the “:” if you want to change the folder only the user “cd” and folder name.
When you reached your destination folder, at there use this command “Cipher /E” and then press the Enter button. When you press the Enter button you will see all starting encrypted in that folder.
Note: “After encryption that will open in your PC only, but other users can not able to view that file, unless that user login with the same user account, So in order the make more secure set password to your account.”

17. Change the Prompt Text in Command Prompt

You can also customize your prompt text when you change your prompt text it will display the directory where you are or other command execution. If you want to change the prompt text just follow these steps.
First of all, open your command prompt and then type “prompt” type your text which you want to set and at the end add “$G” and then hit Enter.
When you hit Enter you will see a prompt text change which you set.
Note: “ “$G” represent “>” symbol there are some other symbol that you can use to check out what are the other symbol use command “help prompt” if you want to change it back to original just use command “prompt” and then hit Enter”
18. Create a WiFi Hotspot
Some of the users know that you can also create a WiFI hotspot by using the command prompt. By WiFi hotshot, you can share your internet with multiple devices. You don’t have to install any other third-party software. And this command work only which have wifi adapter. To do this just follow this.
Open your command prompt and then type “netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=HotspotName key=Password”. Replace HotspotName and assign your wifi SSID name which you want and the same for the password. Replace “Password” and assign the password which you want. And then hit the Enter button.
After that type “netsh wlan start hostednetwork” and press Enter. You will see the wifi hotspot now broadcast through your computer.
Note: “If you want to stop WiFi hotspot then type “netsh wlan stop hostednetwork”.”
19. List all Installed Programs
This command generates the list of all installed programs on your computer including windows apps. This command helps those users who decide to uninstall a program by using the command prompt. If you want to generate the list of all program that is installed in your computer just follows these steps.
First of all, launched the command prompt and then type “wmic product get name” and hit the Enter button.
When you press Enter you will see a list of programs that are installed on your PC.
