Everyone loves Windows 10 new features. When there is large collection of file videos or documents of the file in a list there and you are looking for a specific file in it. There is a Window application available in windown10 which help you to give a quick look to see what is in this file. You should have to only press the spacebar to look a quick of the file. Let’s see how to do it.

How to Preview Files With Spacebar on Windows 10 Feature in Steps

  1. First, open your Microsoft Store and search for QuickLook app, download it and install it.
  2. When you installed it, you can able to preview “certain file types” (Some of the specific files able to perform quick developer not specified it) in File Explorer.
  3. If you want to preview a file So you should have to highlight it and press the Spacebar once. You will see the quick look of the file in a separate window.
  4. To close it Press Space again (alternative Escape) to close the preview of the file.

Some of the file which I found that QuickLook can able to preview images, music, videos, documents such as PDFs, and ZIP files. It didn’t work with Excel Sheet though.

This application is very helpful and able to file a specific file in a huge store of file like finding a pin in the junk. Windows has the Preview pane that shows a snippet of the file so it helps me to find it quickly.
